Sunday evening already? Where does the weekend go? Since moving to Edinburgh Sean and I have been doing much more on the weekend, which is great obviously, but it does seem to make the time pass much quicker!

We woke up this morning with no plans other than to head out to brunch - luckily it was an absolutely stunning day (as you can see) with blue skies everywhere so we were happy to go for a wander. The first photos are of the part of Edinburgh I live in - isn't it pretty? We decided to head along to The Pantry in Stockbridge as we had heard good things about their brunch menu, so we headed off along the river, passing dogs galore on the way!

The food was really lovely - although we had a bit of a chuckle when Sean's choice came out on a slice of tree trunk. I spent a good deal of time making faces at the total sweetheart of a baby at the table next to us - with the chubbiest little legs! After brunch we decided to head along the road to check out the market, where Sean gave me £10 to spend however I wished (bless him). I weighed up the pros and cons of a marshmallow scented candle for a few minutes but eventually I was swayed by this beautiful bouquet of wild flowers.

The rest of the day has been spent getting ready for the week ahead, tidying the flat and binge watching The Blacklist (love you James Spader) but I managed to squeeze in a quick haircut at Electric in Harvey Nicks - it's a big change but I think I like it!
