It might surprise you to hear it, but I'm not really one for festivals. I get really grumpy when I'm cold, hungry, tired or have got wet in a downpour of rain - all of which I feel would potentially happen at a festival. I have been to Lovebox before which I liked - mainly because it was sunny and I got to go home and sleep in my own bed at the end of the day...
I might not be a festival fan, but I am a big fan of festival fashion. I love seeing what all the celebs are wearing - it's basically the height of summer style. This year there was lots of lace, fringing, suede, matching separates and of course...giant hats. When Boohoo challenged me to put together an outfit from their festival shop for under £50, I couldn't wait to see what was on offer.

One of my favourite looks this year was Alexa Chung - at Glastonbury and also at Coachella. I've blended hints of both in this look, the gorgeous floaty dress teamed with bare legs and boots. If I was at a real festival I would have gone for wellies - but suede knee highs worked just as well for a wander through the garden!
Boohoo's festival shop is full of amazing bits and pieces that work just as well out in the real world as they do for dancing in a field. My favourites are the stunning 70's style dresses - they're total bargains and they'll work just as well with opaque tights in the winter as they have in the summer.
