Notice a difference in these outfit photos? A change in address means a change of backdrop - I gave Sean full creative control over these, hasn't he done well? I might have to make him my full time photographer...

Turtle necks seem to be having a come back this year, although I'm not entirely sure everyone quite gets them. I've heard them described in many unflattering ways, and I definitely had at least one person give me a weird look when I wore this one, but my neck was nice and cozy so who's the real loser here eh?

I bought this faux leather skirt from Dorothy Perkins earlier on in the year and I am obsessed with it - not only does it not have to be hand washed which is a bonus for a lazy person like myself but it also fits perfectly and comes in a variety of different colours. I'm currently eyeing up the black, the pewter and the merlot - perfect for winter!

Last but not least - my gorgeous new boots. I'm a big fan of my Shoezone military boots and you've probably seen them in a whole heap of my outfit posts, I basically live in them when the weather is cold or rainy. The lovely lot at Shoezone made me their Blog Spot of the Week last month and offered a pair of their knee high boots for me to review and I just couldn't resist the sweet studs on this pair! They arrived a couple of weeks ago and I've been wearing them nonstop ever since, they're everything you want in a pair of boots - comfy, stylish and well-fitted as well as being a total bargain!

If you're looking for some new footwear and you're on a budget I'd highly recommend Shoezone - they do really last (I've had my military boots a year and they're still going strong) and they have some very on trend designs - I've just added this pair of ankle boots to my basket to wear to a winter wedding next weekend...
