Gosh, where has this year gone? I can't believe that we're in the tenth month already, it seems like just yesterday that I was so hungover on New Years Day that it felt like my eyeballs were trying to crawl out of their sockets (no but seriously guys, I chipped a TOOTH. Drinking prosecco out of the BOTTLE.) It has to be said, whilst I do love sitting out in a park with a cool drink during the height of summer, at heart I'm a bit of a winter baby. I can't help it - winter means Christmas, and that's the most wonderful time of the year! I feel like I've got a lot to look forward to this month, so I thought I'd pop a little post up here:
Moving in with Sean:
It's now under two weeks until we (fingers crossed) set foot into our new little flat that we will be calling home for the next six months. I honestly can't wait to come home from work and cuddle up on the sofa with a cup of tea and the next episode of Elementary. Now I just need to stop myself from buying everything I see in TK Maxx home...I really don't need a decorative silver candle snuffer.
Cold weather clothes are the best kind of clothes. Think about it - over the knee boots, faux fur coats, beanie hats with pompoms on, giant blanket scarves...I can't wait until the weather finally gets cold enough to wear them! Enough with the current thing of being windy and cold when I leave for work and then already unbearably humid by the time I arrive in London.
My sister turns 21 this month and we're paying a visit to a spa for the day to celebrate. Believe it or not, I've never actually been to a spa before so I'm pretty excited to chill out in the jacuzzi with my new book and to have someone else wash my face for me in a posh way (that's basically what a facial is right?)
Getting back on the blogging scene:
Since I started working in London I've found it a bit difficult keeping on top of blogging - sometimes I'm so tired by the weekend that I just want to slob out in my tracksuit bottoms and a topknot. In fact, I frequently do do that. This month I'm making more of an effort because I do love my blog and I want it to do well! I'm also going to get back into making YouTube videos once we move into the flat - I've already planned the little space I'm going to film in. I've also got a couple of events coming up so I'm excited to see some of my blogging pals again - its been months since I last saw anyone!
