You may or may not have caught on Twitter over the last week or so that I am officially moving in with my main man (lol) Sean in the next couple of weeks. Even though we've almost been together six years we've never actually lived together up until this point - when we were at uni we wanted to be able to live with our respective pals and not be in each other's pockets all the time and since then we've been long distance. However - time, finances, location and other boring necessities have now conspired to make it possible for us to finally give the whole cohabiting thing a go and its now a countdown until we move in to the little flat we've found in London which we will be making our home for the next six months.

Something that I'm not quite sure Sean quite gets is the whole concept of decor...when I've visited the various flats/hotels he's been living in over the last two years I've mainly been confronted by unpacked suitcases, beach towels being used as bathroom towels and stacks of unsorted papers housing such treasures as a two year old boarding pass and a squashed spider. So when I say he will have little to no say on how the flat is decorated please don't think that I'm being a bossy bee-atch, I simply have no wish to live somewhere that will remind me of student accommodation.

The flat we're moving into comes fully furnished so we don't really have to take anything with us bar clothes, shoes and other such items, but that hasn't stopped me from browsing the internet for little knick-knacks that I can purchase that will make the space more 'me'. Um, I mean 'us'...
