I love this outfit, I had originally been planning on wearing these gorgeous Stylistpick sandals and skirt with a little pearl embellished grey jumper and frilly socks but whoa mama has it been hot this weekend! Forced to alter my plans at the last minute I threw on this as yet unworn crop top that my sister brought home for me from work. It worked much better than I expected it to - my mum even thought that the top and skirt were part of a set because of the pattern on the writing.
If you're like me and love wearing skirts but can't help but feel like wearing a mini would scare off all of the small children and animals in the immediate vicinity then this super cute number is for you - its long enough to wear to work and not so long that you'll shy away if you don't think midis are for you.
Time for a proper introduction to these shoes as well - this time teamed with a fresh pedicure rather than a pair of knee high socks. I absolutely love these ugly-pretty clunky type of sandals, they're so comfortable and I love that the thick straps and buckles make them a bit tougher looking than a pair of girly gladiators (not that I don't love me a pair of glads.) Props for my pretty looking toes go to my lovely employers who treated the girls at the office to a mani/pedi on Friday - I love my job!
