Okay so this is a pretty pricy product for me to be telling you about, but hey if my glowing (you'll see what I did there in a second) review convinces you that you need to try this face oil then at least you've still got a bit of time to bung it on your list to Santa in the hopes of it appearing under the tree!

I've only recently got into the habit of applying various lotions and potions to my skin after I've removed my makeup but I somehow remembered to apply this everyday at some point and I've definitely noticed a difference in how my skin feels to touch and how radiant it looks as well (do you get the glowing reference now?) At first I thought it was a ridiculously tiny bottle given how much it costs to buy but actually the pipette dispenser means that you don't waste any product and you only need to use between 1-3 drops per application - meaning that after a couple of weeks of daily use it still looks pretty much untouched.

The main reason I think its worth getting though is that you get some real bang for your buck, this bad boy can be applied in a whole host of different ways, a few of which I've already tried out:

  • Applying after cleansing, toning and moisturising to boost the effects of your moisturiser, leaving your skin feeling softer and more hydrated.
  • Used under makeup as a sort of primer to help your makeup apply better and last longer.
  • Used over makeup (yes over) to add a dewy glow to your finished look. This one I was a little dubious about but it absorbs really quickly and doesn't make your skin look oily or greasy, it just makes your skin look more vibrant.
  • If you've got a little bit extra than you need in your hand don't just wash it off, rub it into your cuticles for a super concentrated hand and nail cream.

Look at that - four different uses in one teensy bottle! Its a bit like the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream in that you'd need to google all the possible uses for it, but it definitely makes it feel like you're getting your money's worth.

If I still haven't convinced you there's one other factor for you to carefully consider. It smells like marzipan - like you're rubbing liquid cake into your face but cake that's actually good for your skin. Who can say better than that?
