Gift Ideas for Him
Superdry Blackhawk Knit | I Could Chew On This Book | Jack Wills Pyjama Bottoms
 Tickets | iPad Case

Here's the second instalment of my gift ideas series, and this time its focussing on the men in our life - from boyfriends/husbands to brothers and dads. I find guys so much more difficult to buy for than girls, if I have to pick out a present for Sean's sister I have a whole host of ideas running through my head but when it comes to his brother - not. a. clue. Still, every year I scour the internet and shopping centres for various bits and bobs and here are a few (hopefully) failsafe options to boost your own flagging imaginations a bit.

If you're going for the clothes option then of course its wise to know a bit about the recipient's taste beforehand because my boyfriend would not be caught dead in half of the clothes my brother wears and vice versa. A nice chunky knit tends to go down a treat with anyone though, and you could always change this neutral one up for one with a bit of a pattern if you're buying for someone who likes a bit of vibrancy in their wardrobe.

'Comedy' books seem to be a popular choice for guys and Urban Outfitters always have a whole load in. Sean is a huge dog fan so this would go down well as a little stocking filler for him, whilst my friend Greg would probably much prefer to receive this option.

I've bought pyjama bottoms for various people over the last couple of years and they're definitely the easy option if you're really stuck for ideas. These Jack Wills ones are lovely, such a gorgeous pattern and material.

If you know a favourite band or comedian of your intended present receiver and you have a bit more of a budget then tickets are always a good choice, plus you can always attach yourself to the extra ticket which is what I'll be doing this year! A particularly good idea for hard to buy for dads or fathers in law, all you have to do is a bit of snooping in their CD or DVD rack...

Last but not least we have the techy option, you could choose to splash some cash on a tablet or other gadget for someone or you can go for the cheaper option which is to buy accessories for one that's already owned. An iPad case is perfect because you can get a really nice high quality leather one and you're bound to be able to find one thats perfect - this one would be great for a music lover.
