#InterfloraLFW

Last week I had the opportunity to attend what I think is seriously one of the coolest blogging related things I've done to date. To celebrate London Fashion Week I was invited by Interflora along with a group of other bloggers to pick a designer who was showcasing a new collection and create a moodboard reflecting their new designs. Having sent that off a few days later we went off to an amazing apartment in London to discuss our moodboards with our amazing florists and see them turned into stunning bouquets.

I chose L'Wren Scott as my designer because I absolutely adore her new collection, its inspired by the artist Gustav Klimt and full of jewel tones, luxurious fabrics and gold accents. I made up my moodboard and I have to say I wasn't sure how it was going to be worked into a bouquet, but my amazing florist Natalie worked absolute wonders and I thought the finished result looked like something that should be the centrepiece of an opulent medieval banquet somewhere. I also got a miniature version of the bouquet made up for me to take home, its been sat on my desk looking very swish indeed!

It was fascinating to watch the florists at work coming up with their designs and also really interesting seeing what the other bloggers ended up with as well, it was amazing how much the designs all became their designers, as soon as I walked in I clocked that Angharad's just couldn't be anything other than Mulberry!

Huge thanks to Interflora for coming up with such a cool concept (and for taking these photos which are much better than mine!) It was great to meet the team and to hang about on the sofas with the other bloggers: Sophie (my twitter pal), Angharad, Sarah, Lauren and Isabelle. Lastly a little tip for you readers straight from the source - if you don't have anything particular in mind when you're buying a bouquet, let the florists have free reign so they can work their creative magic!
