The Coral

Dress: New Look
Cuff: Primark
Watch: ASOS
Ring: New Look
Shoes: Matalan*

Here we have a dress that I bought in the New Look sale about two and a half years ago give or take a bit. I haven't worn it in about half that time because it stopped fitting me after too many takeaways and nights out on cocktails in fourth year. Trying it on today was a momentous occasion because it FINALLY fits me again. Okay yes, it is a little bit difficult to get the zip up that last bit and it does feel a tiny bit like I'm living in the Victorian age and wearing a corset but it fits enough that I can wear it out in public again so hoorah!

I teamed it with my Matalan platform shoes that remind me a teeny bit of horses hooves but in a weirdly good way and some gold jewellery. Now don't I feel summery? I'd better put down this second icecream though, I don't want the zip to come pinging off in someone's face.

  5. congratulations on getting into your dress, love the colour on you. I'm fighting the same battle at the moment, I have a mispent dream of getting back into a dress I wore for my 18th, mostly because it's the pansy/barbed wire print silk tea dress that I can't bring myself to get rid of either. It's an interesting mark of sizing though- I wear a Topshop 10 these days, and yet I can't get into a Topshop 12 from 6 years ago. SIGH
