I usually walk out with a little something, two products that I've been loving since I bought them are the REN Mayblossom T-Zone Control Cleansing Gel and the Talika Lash Conditioning Cleanser. I also tend to walk out with a list of things I wish I could buy as long as my arm, so I thought I'd put a few of them up here for you guys to enable me/give me some unbiased reviews if you've tried them out!
First of all, we have the Hourglass Immaculate Liquid to Powder Foundation that I was debating buying on Twitter the other day, I went in to request help with a foundation that would mattify my somewhat oily skin and as soon as this was applied to my face it was love. Its a buildable coverage foundation and the texture once its applied is just amazing. My face genuinely fell when the assistant told me it was £50, but I've pretty much decided that it will be mine nonetheless, I've never felt love at first application like this before!
If I do buy the foundation, I feel as though it will be pretty much necessary for me to buy the primer from the same range as well, mainly because the assistant recommended it and I'm very easily enabled. I also saw that Victoria has been using it recently and speaks highly of it, so that's enough for me! I think I would try and stop my bank account from crying by buying the smaller one though which is £20.
Thirdly we have this Jurlique Essence of Rose Roll On Perfume which is the perfect summery floral scent for sunny daytimes. A snip at £16.50 it is almost half the price of the similar roll on by Diptyque which makes me feel as though I'm practically saving money. I'm drawn to a roll on rather than a spray because I think they're so much easier to slip into your handbag for reapplication during the day.
Fourth on the list is this Bronzing Skin Perfector by Becca, which I am dying to try purely because it is a liquid bronzer. I find powder bronzers really difficult to apply without looking super streaky, so I'd love to give a different formulation a go. It can also be used instead of a foundation if you want a general sun-kissed look, so its multipurpose. Again, practically saving money! (Just go with it.)
Fifth on the list is a restorative hair mask by Kiehls which contains avocado oil and olive fruit oil and promises to restore moisture to dehydrated hair. I've been recommended that I find a hair mask that contains oils to help out my hair since I'm having it gradually bleached blonde, and this one has some brilliant reviews.
Lastly (I'm not even going to add up the price of everything on this list as it will depress me) we have a texturising spray by Percy and Reed. My hair can be a bit flat and lifeless sometimes and I do covet beachy waves, especially in the summer. I've tried and loved Percy and Reed products before and this one is a lot cheaper than similar ones by Bumble & Bumble for example. I figure I might as well give it a go and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for surfer girl-esque hair!
