Some of the favourite pieces of clothing I own are ones that come from small, independent shops - partly because I really like supporting them, and also because you're pretty much guaranteed not to come across someone wearing the same thing as you! When Alex from These Folk contacted me I immediately fell in love with the quirky and original designs on the website. They describe themselves as selling "hand painted clothing inspired by folklore, Pocahontas and the cosmos" and they cater for both men and women.
When this Full Moon jumper arrived with my postman, I knew right away how I wanted to style it - I've gone for a smart casual look this time with my slightly battered faux leather pencil skirt, but I think it will also look amazing just slung on with a pair of denim shorts and sandals when it gets a bit warmer. The jumper itself is so comfy and the painted colours are really vibrant, my sister is still trying to work out how it must be done! As an added bonus the jumper is machine washable which I wasn't expecting, but I am extremely happy that I won't have to do it by hand.
Speaking of my sister, she's the one who took these photos for me. She seemed to be getting a bit too into it though, I can tell you that I feared for my life a little bit when she made me climb up the ladder of the climbing frame in my platform boots!

Fab jumper - looks great with the leather skirt :)
