The dress I want to slim into!

Before Christmas Maxitone had sent me a selection of their products to try, and they obviously guessed that I might fall off the wagon a little bit over the festive period because they kindly offered to send me a New Year gift set to re-motivate me as part of their Thankyou Protein campaign which is looking to find the new face of Maxitone for 2013.

I haven't tried out all of the products yet, but I have downloaded some workout songs onto my iPhone and started drinking a protein shake everyday after exercising and I've really noticed a difference already in my strength and how quickly my muscles recover after I've abused them with a Jillian Michaels DVD.

This month I'm really going to up the ante and possibly try out the yoga workout that I was sent as well because I really want to get into this gorgeous cherry print dress in time for my Grandma's 90th at the end of February. It was one that I got for my 21st birthday from Sean and I haven't worn it since because the last time I tried it on I couldn't do up the zip (sad face.)

I have taken some 'before' pictures but I have bottled out of putting them on this post at the last minute-I think I'm going to wait until the end of this month when I will hopefully have some nice 'after' pictures to go with them! I know I've been going on and on about the weight I want to lose recently but I finally feel like I'm actually in a routine with exercising and not eating as much junk food so I'm feeling pretty motivated that this month is going to be the month I finally reach my goal.

  1. I'm using the maxitone protein shake at the moment as well & have really noticed the rate of recovery is much quicker when I drink one. what are the definity crisp bars like & are they packed full of protein as well or are they just healthy?

    1. The bars are quite nice! They taste a bit synthetic but they're not bad and they have tons of protein as well! xo
