Life Lately #3

I haven't really been up to anything in the last fortnight, I can't believe how much I am lacking in a social life now I'm an MA student, its a bit depressing! Luckily I always have a space for meeting friends for food in my diary which is how I ended up at Bill's in Covent Garden again in between lectures. On the subject of lectures, just LOOK at an extract of the reading I had to do for this week. I pretty much did not understand a word of it at all. Can I have some sympathy for the brain-hurting stuff I have to do please?

Thursday was Valentine's Day as I'm sure you're all aware unless you succeeded in completely blocking out the outside world for the day. It was the first year since we got together that I didn't spend the day with Sean because he's up in Aberdeen so instead I crashed the 'romantic' curry that my sister and her boyfriend had. I did get a huge bouquet of flowers in the post though which was a lovely surprise.

Lastly I just wanted to draw your attention to a really talented new musician that will probably be making a bit of a splash this year. She's the daughter of a guy my mum goes to the gym with which is how I found out about her and she's incredibly talented-she reminds me a lot of Amy Macdonald. Her name is Truly Ford and she was recently signed by BGM-give my favourite track of hers a listen below.
