This week I've been seeing lots of different friends and family members in between library visits to try and work out what Napoleon and Alexander the Great have in common. This weekend was my best friend Charlotte's engagement party-she's marrying her childhood sweetheart Ben, how cute is that?
Speaking of childhood, my mum came across some slides of photos in our attic that her dad had taken when she was younger so we've been having a few sessions of projecting family photos on the wall, I'm loving the frilly blouse she was rocking as a toddler.
I entered a competition over Christmas and got second place which included a prize of a £50 Arcadia voucher so I hit up Topshop with my winnings and came away with a couple of cute skater skirts and some of their makeup-I've still not tried any of it but I've been wanting to try the Sunbeam highlighter for ages and I'll never say no to a new lipstick.
Last but not least I had a lovely lunch on Saturday with some of my favourite ever blogging ladies: Emily, Aisling and Ella. We chatted and laughed for hours and I had so much fun, I can't wait to do it again soon! They all have gorgeous blogs so do go and check them out if you don't already follow them.

Sounds like you've had a nice time lately. That is super cute about your friend, loads of people I went to school with have married/are marrying childhood sweet hearts, I think it's common because I live in a small town.
