Valais Ice Sculpture at St Pancras Station

If you live in London you may have spotted one of these rather cool (geddit) looking ice sculptures dotted around in various places over the last week or so. They're a pretty amazing publicity stunt on behalf of My Switzerland to encourage you to visit Switzerland on your holidays. It also offers you a chance to win an amazing skiing holiday to various Swiss hotspots if you get hold of the right code.

The next -and last- ice sculpture will be appearing at the Southbank centre on the 29th from 7am so if you're nearby pop along and have a peek, a chat with one of the ski-suit clad instructors milling around or try and win yourself a prize by freeing it from the ice. I actually got there after all the prizes had already been freed from the ice sculpture but you can get a code for a different set of prizes from one of the instructors so you won't miss out!

If you can't manage to get to Southbank you can still be in with the chance to win if you download the iPhone/Android app which you can find a link to on the website. The app is basically a tricky but addictive little game where you have to try and melt a block of ice as quickly as possible. Get the best time you can manage and then enter the code on the site to see if you're in luck!

Since this post isn't particularly beauty OR fashion related I'm going to leave you with a picture of mini-me enjoying a ski holiday, wearing a very fetching lime green ski-suit I must say!

Oi-Oi Sexy!

Keep your fingers crossed that my code will win me a ski trip to Valais! I promise if I get it I will buy myself a new ski-suit that isn't quite so retina-burningly bright.
