Fantasy Shopper

It is currently 7 days after my payday, and I am ALREADY skint. How does this happen to me? I think I am probably the worst at saving money out of anyone I know or have ever met ever. That means that for the next 3 weeks or so, I am going to be firmly keeping my debit card (and credit card) in my purse.

The problem I have is mostly with online shopping, I'll casually browse one of my favourite stores online to see what they have coming in and then I'll fall in love with something and before I know it I'll be clicking the checkout button. Its just too easy to buy things online!

This is where my new favourite website comes in, I get all the fun of browsing clothes, shoes and accessories online and can even create amazing looking outfits-but I DON'T BUY THEM. The website is called Fantasy Shopper, you might have already heard of it, and it is my newest addictive online hobby!

You can sign up by email or if you want to be able to invite friends to join in you can login via Facebook (if like me you don't want to post any of your activity to your wall you can easily update that via your settings.) Then you just get started! You're given a number of badges to earn as part of your 'tutorial' to get you started on the website.

At the moment you can 'shop' in London and New York, and Paris and Milan are soon to be added. New shops are also being added to the site all the time, though there's already a good selection to choose from. The fun thing about this is that you can pull together an outfit from Topshop or Miss Selfridge, and then see what it would look like if you happened to have hopped on a plane and bought yourself a bag from Barneys!

The website is also good for if you've found an item you're in love with and actually want to buy in real life but can't think what would go with it, just pop it in a Style Assist request and watch the suggestions roll in. Personal shopping, but at the click of a button.

Before you get started, I have two warnings for you about Fantasy Shopper, number one-it is very addictive, I've spent hours on it already! Number two-it will make you really sad that you can't actually afford to buy any of the outfits, but at least you can look at them and dream.

I'm still quite new to this and I'm looking for some more people to follow, so if you join up or are already an avid Fantasy Shopper, please let me know! Now I'm off to virtually shop Accessorize...
