fashionistA custom design palette

Hello lovelies! Today I'd like to talk to you about FashionistA makeup, in particular their new custom design palette.

Make your own palettes have become very popular recently, MAC remain the most obvious brand that offer the option, but you can also build your own Urban Decay and Inglot palettes. The main issue with these tends to be the expense-most people would rather buy a ready put together palette than spend an extra thirty or so pounds to make their own.

The amazing thing about the FashionistA custom palettes is the price, you pay five pounds for an empty palette in black or red, and then four pounds per eyeshadow/blusher/bronzer that you want to add to your palette.

I only wish that the palettes were larger-I would be willing to pay more for more space, but I suppose with them being smaller you could have separate ones for eyeshadow, for bronzer and for blusher (something that I am seriously considering...)

It's super easy to put your palette together, you literally just pop the little squares of makeup out of the cases and then push them into the palette. Then there are little circular holes in the bottom of the palette in case you want to take them out again.

I'm thinking of buying another couple of the bronzers and making this my own little bronzer palette because I only own two bronzers currently and I could have a couple of matte ones for contouring and a couple of shimmery ones for highlighting etc. Then maybe I should get one of the black palettes and fill it with different eyeshadows...OH THE POSSIBILITIES.

  1. That concotion of blue, purple and gold in the one pan looks amazing - I could never use it in case it mucked it up :L I love being able to make your own palettes - every time I buy one theres always one or two colours that go totally unused.

  2. I've being eyeing up the fashionistA palettes lately (their swirly baked eyeshadows look too amazing!) but I remember that superdrug had a deal on them a while ago, I can't remember the specifics of it but I think you could get a whole filled palette for only £12! So I'm holding out for another deal like that... but I don't think I'll hold on for much longer! ;) x
