Raspberry Sorbet

If you've been paying attention to the fashion pages in various magazines recently, you'll have noticed that one of the big trends for spring will be sorbet colours. Luckily for me, I've managed to tentatively start to embrace this trend thanks to Best British Bloggers and Joe Browns

I was contacted recently to see whether I would be interested in receiving and reviewing an item of clothing from the new Joe Browns collection, and I've never been one to turn down a chance to pad out my wardrobe! I'd heard of Joe Browns before (my mum used to get the catalogue) but I'd never actually worn any of their clothes so I had no idea what to expect.

I'll be 100% honest with you-not all of the clothes are to my taste, some of the tops especially struck me as a little bit dated, but you should definitely persevere through the whole catalogue, because there are some real gems to be found. The knitwear section is full of great stuff and if you're a fan of pretty floral summer dresses you're in luck, there were 4 or 5 that I fell in love with and once the weather gets a bit warmer I'm definitely going to add some to my online basket!

In the end though I decided to go for something a bit different, and I knew as soon as I saw the Colourful Jeans that I had to have them. A few days ago they arrived, adding a touch of raspberry sorbet to my wardrobe!

I'm not yet quite ready to let go of my dark winter colours completely yet, so I brightened up a plain black shirt and wedges with my new skinnies and added a touch of sparkle with my glittery bow headband.

When the sun comes out properly I might embrace the colourful option entirely and wear a floral blouse or a shirt in a contrasting colour, but until then I'm happy with the pop of pink that these jeans give my outfit!

I ordered the jeans in a size 12 and they are amazingly comfy and almost on the loose side, so don't size up too much if you decide to order!

Have you ever ordered from Joe Browns? Are you tempted to now that you've fallen in love with my pink jeans? (don't pretend you haven't!)

I was asked to review these jeans and so didn't pay for them-however I've been 100% honest about my opinion-I really do love them!

  7. Love the jeans, such a nice colour! I agree with you that you have to search for the best products in the catalogue, not everything is to my taste either. They do have some nice stuff though, I have a pair of boots from Joe Browns and they're amazing xx
