Lush Bath Bomb: Leap Frog

Hello lovelies! I mentioned when I reviewed the lip scrub that I'd popped into Lush for bath bombs and I wanted to show you this special Limited Edition Valentines one I picked up!

Apologies for the lighting! Unfortunate side affect of only taking baths at night.

His name is Leap Frog and he is the renamed version of the Frog Prince bath bomb in honour of this year being a leap year (when traditionally girls are allowed to propose on February 29th!) He's a little green frog with big, bright red lips and I couldn't resist him when I saw him in the Valentine's display!

According to the Lush website the Leap Frog is fragranced with Jasmine, Sandalwood and Rose, but to my untrained senses it just smelt like a big pack of Parma Violets. It is a lovely smell though, not sickly sweet but nice and girly.

Like all Lush bath bombs this one is easy to use, start running a hot bath and then chuck it in and watch it fizz and dissolve whilst turning the water pretty colours (in this case green.)

I quite like the way the red lips dissolve slower than the rest of the body so the frog dissolves and you're just left with a big pout swirling around your bathtub! The water is left feeling lovely and moisturising and you get out of your bath smelling sweet and feeling soft (if not a little wrinkled from staying in too long!)

As an added bonus you get a nice little romantic message when the bomb has all dissolved, although I wasn't paying attention so I only just managed to fish it out before it fell apart:

I don't know who you are Prince Scott, but I'll warn you now, my boyfriend is a possessive bugger-so keep your lips to yourself!
