Aussie Event

Hello lovelies! As anyone who follows me on Twitter will probably know, I came back down to London the other day to attend a job interview. Luckily for me, the new Handpicked Media featuring Aussie event celebrating the new bigger size Aussie bottles happened to coincide exactly with my visit down South. So yesterday night I headed off to the Soho Hotel with some other lovely blogging ladies to check out the new massive bottles and get my hair did by the lovely Liz Thaw.

Natalie from BlushBlendBeauty rocking out in the massive tub!

The event was held in The Terrace Suite at the Soho Hotel, which is apparently the suite that P Diddy (is he still called that?!) stays in when he visits. Oh my god, it was a-may-zing. I felt a little bit common walking in there I admit, it was so huge and luxurious! We sat down on one of the sofas and you just sank into it-luxury or what! The whole suite was decorated with Aussie style decorations and loads of Aussie Shampoo and Conditioner was lying about which I kept smelling.

Cigdem from Its Pronounced Chi-Dem! with her new bestest pal.

(Girl on the left was absolutely lovely and I'm FAIRLY certain I've remembered her name right but don't want to put it on in case the champagne affected me more than I thought-get in touch!) Elodie from Elle Yeah and Viola from Makeup and then Some

As you walked in you got offered champagne (which was lush) and canapés...of which I ate many. There's a really attractive picture of me somewhere with chocolate cake in one hand and a mince pie in the other. I am so fit. You could also sign up to a ten minute consultation or hair styling session with Liz Thaw the Aussie Hair expert, who was AMAZING.

Lucy from Lucy Boots having her hair consultation with Liz!

Elodie showing off her sexy new side flicked hair! Although we were hoping for an undercut when the scissors were brought out...

I had a really lovely Beehive hairstyle done on me by Liz in under ten minutes because since my hair was cut I've been finding it really difficult to do a proper up-do. Liz gave me some really clear direction on how to do it and it looked pretty simple so fingers crossed I can recreate, stay tuned to find out nearer Christmas (party time)

I stole this picture from Elodie, can you tell she has a superior camera AND superior camera skills haha.

When we left at the end of the night we got given a lovely Aussie goodie bag with a new bigger Shampoo and Conditioner. Fab end to a fab night!

Sorry for the terrible quality, my lighting at home is shocking!

All in all it was an absolutely amazing night and I'd like to say a big thankyou to Handpicked Media and Aussie Hair UK for inviting me and making it such a fab evening. Thankyoou! I will leave you with this stunning picture of me embracing my (non existent) Australian roots:
