Front Cover Eye Palette

I have been looking for a nice eye palette for absolutely AGES. It's so hard to find one with a variety of colours for a decent price for some reason! Luckily, given that it is coming up to Christmas (in store terms anyway) Boots have added their 3 for 2 Christmas range, which consists of a whole load of lovely palettes to give away as gifts.

...or to keep for myself :)

The one I eventually chose after much umm-ing and ahh-ing is this gorgeous Front Cover eye shadow kit. I've never bought anything by this brand before, but I have to say, I was tempted by some of their other kits as well!

Now, my camera flash decided to play up so the lighting isn't exact in these pictures, please forgive me on that point!

Here is the lovely lovely packaging:

It's actually a holographic (is that the word?) cover, so when you tilt it the eyes are open, but I couldn't get a good angle on my camera :(

Inside are two layers of gorgeous eye-shadow shades:

The top row is a selection of lovely metallics, and the second row is a mix of blues, purples and greens with a hint of shimmer. Then on the second layer you have a selection of glittery peaches, pinks and browns which can also be swirled together and used as a blush or bronzer.

All in all, I absolutely adore this palette and can't wait to start experimenting with different bold eye colours and looks! Has anyone else bought anything from Front Cover before? How did you find it?

  1. That palette looks really good! I havent tried anything from Front Cover, almost bought one last year but decided not to as I dont wear eye-shadow that often, or atleast I didnt, untill I got my Naked Palette. Love the look of the blush/bronzer, its a bit like the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks.

  2. Looks really nice. I love the range of colors!!

  3. Ooo this looks fabb.

Can wait to see your experiments.

I've had some lipglosses I think but thats about it. xxxx

  4. ohh yaay i love when boots have their gifts out! Can't wait to see your eye makeup with this :)

  5. Haven't tried anything from Front Cover. I don't even think they sell it in the US? Looks like a great palette though! ;)

  6. Do you know where to buy it from? None of the UK stores seem to have it. I've checked online too.
